Weekly dances

1) Every Friday, Queen & Broadview

We dance every Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 at the Ralph Thornton Centre, 765 Queen Street East (Toronto), two blocks east of Broadview Avenue.

We are usually on the second floor. Check the daily schedule by the elevator.

Admission is free, although donations are helpful.

Beginner lesson at 6:30 on the first regular Friday dance of the month (note change for February and April).
Upcoming beginner lesson dates: February 13 (2026), March 6, April 10, May 1.

2) Every Tuesday, North York Centre

We also dance every Tuesday evening, from 7:00 to 9:00, at Willowdale Presbyterian Church, 38 Ellerslie Avenue, just a five minute walk from North York Centre subway station. Entrance at the east side.

There is free parking at the church.

Suggested donation $10.

All are welcome. Dances are taught, and prompted while being danced. Newcomers are always welcome, and we'll teach you what you need to know. You don't need to bring a partner, and most people don't; even those who do bring a partner mostly dance with other partners, as we switch partners every dance.

Dress is casual. Wear flat, soft-soled shoes and comfortable clothes. Please avoid perfume and scented grooming products.
